1. Credit Terms

Credit terms are strictly a maximum of thirty (30) days. Should we not receive payment or reach an agreement, we may have no choice but to decommission the borehole.

The EU, under the Late Payment Transactions Regulations (16th March 2013), introduced legislation for the private sector. This requires strict adherence to payment schedules, and late payment penalties may apply.

2. Ownership of Goods

All goods supplied remain the property of Well Arden Ltd, trading as Ellis Well Drilling, until full payment has been received. This ensures that both parties are protected and obligations are clear.

3. Quality and Liability

Ground conditions vary across Ireland due to geological factors. Quality and quantity of water cannot be guaranteed. Filtration may be required for issues like iron, lime, or manganese. In dry borehole situations, charges apply for materials such as steel and PVC liners, fuel, and labor.

Ellis Well Drilling accepts no liability for field, lawn, or driveway damage, entrances (fencing, gates, walls), drains, buried services, or dirt from drilling. Disposal of arisings (soil) and fluids is the client’s responsibility.

4. Handling Discrepancies

If you have concerns or discrepancies with your newly drilled well, please contact us directly rather than seeking advice elsewhere. This prevents misinformation. All discrepancies will be addressed in a timely and professional manner.

5. Late Payment Regulations

Customers must maintain accounts within the 30-day credit term. Late payment interest may apply as per regulations, including daily rates and fixed charges depending on debt amounts. Please contact us with any queries regarding these terms.
